Author Dave Eggers graciously donated a large, wood-bound special edition of his book The Eyes & The Impossible to the Horizon Middle School West media center. To celebrate the book winning the prestigious Newbery Award for 2024, Mr. Dooher will be hosting a read-along of this beautiful book in the media center on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:05 p.m. from April 2 through May 2.
Throughout MAPS, students are engaging in virtual author visits with their favorite authors. They have the opportunity to submit questions for the authors of the books they're currently reading.
