Moorhead High School Science Teacher, Allie Bondy, is inspired by Henrietta Lacks. Allie says “All of our lives today have benefited from the research that grew out of Henrietta Lacks' immortal cancer cells. Her contribution to science needs to be shared.” #WomensHistoryMonth

Kim says “I was extraordinarily fortunate to see her perform, in person, at MSUM several years ago in a very small theatre. March is Youth Art Month! 🎨 We are excited to feature different student art projects throughout the month. Check out “The Great Wave” project made by third grade artists at Ellen Hopkins Elementary! Inspired by the Japanese artist, Hokusai, the students used oil pastels and paints to make these pieces. #YouthArtMonth

Feb. 24 is National Bus Driver Appreciation Day. To celebrate we would like to highlight Les Fleischman. Les has been a bus driver for 30 years and loves interacting with the kids.
