Tiffany Nagel is principal at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary. Nagel graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) with an elementary education degree, and began her teaching career as a fifth grade teacher. She spent most of her 14 years in the classroom as a third grade teacher. She received her master's degree in educational leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University and her principal licensure from MSUM. She also has experience as an MTSS Coordinator and instructional coach. Nagel became assistant principal at S.G. Reinertsen in 2017, and then principal at Ellen Hopkins Elementary in March of 2023. Nagel enjoys spending time with her husband Travis and her children Abby, Jake, and Cade. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time at the lake.

Amanda Mix is assistant principal at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary. Mix graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She has a master’s degree from Bemidji State and a specialist degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She has 16 years of education experience, most recently serving in the role of assistant principal at Ellen Hopkins Elementary and before that as a support specialist of district multi-tiered systems. Mix strives to motivate all learners to embrace their inner “awesomeness” to achieve their goals.
