Moorhead Speaks

Moorhead Speaks is a cultural event dedicated to celebrating Black History Month, aimed at raising awareness of important issues and inspiring positive change. Organized by People of Color Advocacy (POCA), a student-led organization, along with Moorhead High School and Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), this event will feature powerful discussions, performances, and reflections on Black history and its impact today.

This event serves as an opportunity for students, educators and community members to engage in meaningful dialogue about Black history, social justice and the power of advocacy for a more inclusive future.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 26 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM at MSUM's Gaede Hall (801 13th St S, Moorhead).
