Meet Sean Schneider, Supervisor of Transportation. He joined the team in April. Prior to joining our team, Schneider was employed by BNSF Railway as a trainmaster for eight years. In this role he oversaw railroad transportation operations.
Schneider graduated with a masters degree in public administration from the University of North Dakota. "I'm looking forward to the opportunity to learn and work in public service and my field of study," Schneider says. With his extensive transportation knowledge, he will bring a new perspective to his position. Schneider hopes to enhance collaboration with students, parents, transportation staff and school administration.
Born and raised in Bismarck, ND, Schneider and his wife moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area 4.5 years ago. He and his wife Joanna recently welcomed their first child, Evelyn Marie Schneider. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, biking and spending time with his family.
"Everyone across the school district has been very welcoming," Schneider says. "I'm grateful to join the Moorhead Area Public Schools transportation team. They are a dedicated team of professionals, and I am looking forward to learning from their experience."
