Head Coach Ryan Kraft and Assistant Coach Greg Salvevold were named the 8AA Girls Head and Assistant coaches of the year! 🏆 This annual Minnesota Girls Hockey Coaches Association award is given to outstanding coaches who show good sportsmanship, display professionalism, make contributions to better girls' high school hockey and more. Good luck to the boys basketball team as they take on Wayzata today at 4 p.m. in the state quarterfinals! 🏀 2012 was the last time the Spuds claimed the section title and headed off to state, when Head Coach Matt Ellingson was on the team. Now this is what teamwork is all about! 🧡 Recently, industrial technology teacher Jeff Schneider volunteered his time to create a custom mobility base for a p-pod bean bag. The bean bag provides students with postural support in an alternative seating option. Mobility bases for this specialty equipment can be over $1,500 and he was able to use the space at the Moorhead High School Career Academy to make it for a fraction of the price. #SpudPride
Bring on the music! 🎺 Freshman band students at Moorhead High School will be performing a commissioned piece after two years of teamwork! 🥁 The song, entitled Clay County Overture, celebrates our regional heritage. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. on March 24 at the MHS Auditorium. #SpudPride
