John Millea from the Minnesota State High School League presented shirts during a recent basketball game to honor MHS students. As part of their Fill the Dome Campaign, students gathered money and food to donate to the Great Plains Food Bank. This student council led campaign was recognized at the state level! #SpudPride
Bria and Ella Holm celebrate the lone goal shot by Bria during the Feb. 17 game against the Brainerd Warriors. Congratulations to the girls hockey team who played hard and made it to the section final this year! The team finished their season with a 5-4 lead over the Rams, advancing to the section final. The Spuds fell 1-2 against Brainerd.
The Moorhead adapted floor hockey team competes tonight in their FIRST-EVER home game. Join in person to cheer on the team! 🥳 Not able to make it? Spuds TV will be streaming the game. Game starts at 4 p.m. at the Moorhead High School south gym.
Thank you to our dedicated drivers for safely transporting our students to school every day! ☺️ In honor of Bus Driver Appreciation Day, we are highlighting one of our many amazing drivers. Neal has been with us since September. One of his favorite things about being a bus driver is bringing kids on field trips! There is something special about seeing the excitement on the students’ faces when they get to go on a special trip.

Students at Horizon Middle School are showcasing the award-winning musical by Lionel Bart based on the classic Charles Dickens' novel. Show runs March 3-6 with a spectacular cast and crew of over 100 students in grade 6-8! Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the show.
The Moorhead boys swim and dive team just received their trophy from their Border Battle meet! The team placed 3rd against 15 teams across Minnesota and North Dakota on Jan. 8. Their next meet is Feb. 25 at Elk River High School! #GoSpuds

These need to remain free of vehicles to allow emergency responder vehicles easy access to the building. Vehicles parked in these areas will be ticketed by the Moorhead Police Department. Last week, students at Ellen Hopkins Elementary School made Statue of Liberty crowns to learn about American symbols. They even got a surprise visit from Spuddy and were excited to show off their hard work! #SpudPride

🔶REMINDER🔶 There will be no school for Moorhead students on Monday, Feb. 21. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
Moorhead public and non-public schools and buses will start two hours late on Friday, Feb. 18. There will be no morning Early Intervention Services, Jump Start or Community Education classes. Before-school activities are canceled. Online students and West Central Academy will maintain a regular schedule.
