Join us behind the scenes at MAPS! Today we are showing off the transportation department. 🚌
Take a look at this spot in the District Operations Center where buses are housed. This space can hold up to 26 buses indoors and includes a repair garage and a bus washing station on site. It’s easy to keep buses clean and safe for students with everything in one spot. #SpudPride
Congratulations to the Moorhead sports teams for closing up the fall season with positivity! Spud athletes show hard work, talent and perseverance on the field and in the classroom. We are inspired by students like Jack Teiken who summed up his season so eloquently. #SpudPride

It's the little things for us! 🤗
Recently a parent posted on social media thanking one of our drivers for going above and beyond. We want to highlight John Rasmussen, bus driver at Moorhead Area Public Schools.
He noticed a first grader was running a minute behind. John made an extra stop down the block in front of their house, to make sure the student didn't miss the bus. These little acts of kindness are what make our school district and community the best place to be!
Sydney Olson competes in the 200 Medley at the Dickinson Invitational Oct. 29-30.

Check out the hands-on learning our students have been up to at the Moorhead High School Career Academy!
Entrepreneurship 1 students spent the quarter designing and creating a mobile app concept. This included designing a company logo, creating a marketing campaign, designing mobile app feature screens and presenting their concept during a market day.
Spuds in woodworking and cabinetry class created beautiful wood boards. The students picked materials, cut the wood, sanded and smoothed, and engraved their boards. At the end of the quarter, they held a collaborative event where the nutrition class used the wood boards to display their charcuterie making skills.
