Spud shoutout to Moorhead High School choir members Martan Gregoire and Lydia Horan who were selected through a rigorous audition process for the 2021-22 Minnesota All-State Choir. The MN All-State Choir is comprised of the top choir students from around the state.

Congratulations to three outstanding Moorhead High School students for their musical accomplishments! Tim Foster and Aiden Williams auditioned and made the 2021-22 Minnesota All-State Band and Orchestra. Tim performed with the All State Band in the percussion section. Aiden performed in the winds and percussion section of the All-State Orchestra that band members can audition. Tuba player Henry Skatvold was selected for the MN Band Directors Association Middle Level 9-10 Honor Band. 👏
Spuds participated in the state destination imagination tournament. Ten students gave it their all and stretched their imagination! This STEAM program inspires young people to imagine and innovate to become creative and collaborative leaders.
👍 Congratulations to team BBQ Socks and Big Butter Sticks! These teams took 2nd place in their divisions.

Moorhead High School Prom Grand March is Saturday, May 7th. Grand March begins at 7:30pm in the MHS auditorium. Please park and enter through Door 1. Doors will open at 6:45pm, and admission cost is $2.00 per person. Seat reservations will not be permitted. Thank you for your support of the Moorhead High School Prom!

Congratulations to 7th-grade cello player Sienna Lee! 🤩 Sienna performed with the Minnesota Middle Level Honors Orchestra in February. The best string players from the state joined together for a performance at the Minneapolis Convention Center as part of the MMEA Midwinter Clinic. #SpudPride
The Spud softball team beat the West Fargo Packers by one point on April 23! 🥎 The final score was 4-3. The team's next home game is on Saturday, April 30 vs. Hill-Murray. #GoSpuds
Boys lacrosse beat Proctor/Hermantown/Marshall 14-3 on April 23! The team also won its season opener against Grand Rapids 10-1. 🥍 The Spuds travel to play Minnetonka on Friday, April 29. Girls lacrosse plays at home on Friday against Grand Rapids. #GoSpuds

Spud students planted trees for Earth Day last week! 🌲Teacher Brad Neznik planned an activity for his students to give back. The group called it The Outreach Program for "Earth Day." 🌎
