Welcome to our last full week prior to Thanksgiving break! It’s another busy, exciting week at Asp:
Fill the Dome: Robert Asp will once again be participating in the “Fill the Dome” food drive. Between Monday, November 18 and Friday, November 22, 2024, students are encouraged to bring in as many non-perishable food items as possible. Any non-perishable food items that are in a can, jar, or box will help with the cause. These items will be donated to the community-wide food drive which helps to stock the Great Plains Food Bank. We are super excited about this project; in previous years, Asp families have been amazingly generous. We are hoping to have another successful year!! The classroom that brings in the most food items in the school will receive a donut party!! Also, the class in each grade that brings in the most food will have the opportunity for an extra 20 minute recess or having lunch with the principals! Thank you for helping with this very important effort!

Weekly Focus: We’re continuing the 7 Grandfathers Teachings this week as we talk about Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Humility, and Truth!
Mobile Food Pantry: Salem Church in South Moorhead is hosting a Mobile Food Pantry Distribution event in a few weeks on December 5. See linked info!
