Moorhead Community Education is pleased to support and sponsor this year’s One Book, One Community read.
Anton Treuer’s “Everything You Wanted to Know about Indians but Were Afraid to Ask” is the One Book, One Community selection for 2021. A number of events have taken place throughout the area to spark conversation and enter into discussions about this important work. A book talk with the author will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the Knutson Campus Center Centrum on the campus of Concordia College. The event begins at 7:00 PM.; doors open at 6:30 PM. and admission is free. A book signing will follow the talk.
Treuer is the author of many books about Ojibwe language and culture. He is Professor of Ojibwe at Bemidji State University.
