Take the whole family out for a historic river walk along the Red River with Mark Peihl, archivist at the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County. Check out the historic sites, including the steamboat landing and remnants from the riverfront saloons.
Learn new recipes, or perfect your cooking skills. Experience Indian appetizers, main meals or desserts with instructor Akanksha Advani. Or, perfect your pizza-making skills with Drew Balstad from Rhombus Guys.
Create a resilient yard by learning how to transform a section of your yard into a native garden that will attract pollinators.
Taste the difference between popular grill types with SCHEELS experts. Not sure what type of grill to buy? This class will teach you about different grills from Traeger, Big Green Egg, Weber and everything in between. Steaks will be cooked on gas, charcoal and pellets to taste the difference.
Through Community Education, people of all ages and all abilities have the opportunity to learn and have fun in a multitude of classes.
Anyone in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas can take a class through Moorhead Community Education.
District residents receive a discount on most classes.
