Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope everyone enjoyed spring break and time together! We would like to thank you for attending parent/teachers conferences last month. We had a great turn out!! We enjoyed the opportunity to share your child’s progress with you. As always, please let us know how school is going for your son and /or daughter.
April brings us to MCA (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment) for grades 3 and 4 starting April 19th. We know that even the word “testing” may bring anxiety to many students. If you have concerns regarding this please contact our School Counselor, Tanya Stuhaug. We are excited for them to “show what they know” as our school year winds down.
Thank you for following the pick up and drop off procedures at DDE. We realize the space and time is always short. It is important that we keep all students safe during this time.
The character trait Dorothy Dodds is focusing on this month is cooperation. It is important for children to start exercising their cooperation muscle at an early age. You can practice cooperation in your home by cleaning together, gardening, making a meal or baking together, working on a jigsaw puzzle. #TogetherIsBetter
Respectfully,
