Thanks to all the families and students who are returning books each week! We love to see the flow of books in and out of the library.
To date, close to 10,000 books have been checked out this year! That’s amazing.
TIPS if you have a reluctant reader:
Try finding things other than traditional books, such as magazines, graphic novels/comics, cookbooks, gaming handbooks, etc.
Allow them to read what genuinely interests them.
Put captions on when watching movies.
Read aloud and show by example.
Try audio books.
Use technology (online e-books, which can be checked out on apps such as Libby or found on elibrarymn.org)
