Our last day of school is this Friday, May 24th.
On Friday all Moorhead students will have an early dismissal, with a release time scheduled two hours before the usual end of the day.
Ellen Hopkins students will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Please plan accordingly.
On Thursday students will be emptying out their desks and lockers to take everything home with them. Please do not send your child to school with a backpack on Friday. There won't be any materials to bring home so let's keep it simple and backpack-free on the last day of school. Lunch boxes and water bottles are more than welcome!

Ellen Hopkins fourth graders took a field trip to the Hjemkomst Center today! 🤩
Rain or shine, nothing was stopping the student patrol group from having an absolute BLAST on their field trip! 😎👍🏻 They ventured to the Fargo Theatre to enjoy a movie and popcorn, and then had some fun at Replay Games! 🎬🕹️ Shoutout to our Assistant Principal Mrs. Engelking, the safety patrol coordinator Mr. Anderson, and safety patrol staff Mollie, Jennifer, and Tyler for making sure it was a smooth day for all.
Israel placed 9th in the long jump! 🏅👏🏻 Way to go!
Our 4th graders did AMAZING at the Annual All-City Outdoor Track Meet located at the Moorhead High School! Shoutout to our Phy Ed teachers for leading the events! 🏃💨🏅👟☀️👏🏻
Happy Retirement to Mrs. Hanson! 👏🏻 Her first grade students and coworkers decorated her classroom door to celebrate the years of dedication, service, and love. 💗 Mrs. Hanson is one of a kind and we will miss her!

Pontoppidan Lutheran will be hosting its food distribution next Thursday May 16th from 4:00-5:30 PM. Flyer is attached. These are open to anyone in need of food assistance. There will be a short form to fill out while waiting. You may pick up for multiple families/ households.
