Grades 7-8:
Due to the forecasted heat index tomorrow evening, we will be unable to hold the Shocky Strand Time Trial event due to Minnesota State High School League guidelines. It will be rescheduled for a date next week (including the 9-12 parent meeting), and we will communicate those details as soon as possible.
As a result, the practice schedule for the week will be as follows:
Horizon (7-8 grade)
Tuesday: 4:00 PM at Horizon (indoors)
Wednesday: 4:00 PM at MHS - pool practice (meet at south main entrance).
Thursday: 4:00 PM at Horizon (indoor/outdoor depending on temperature)
Friday: 4:00 PM at Horizon (indoor/outdoor depending on temperature)
We apologize for all of the changes. We are working to make the safest choices we can given the circumstances.
Additional note: the XC clothing order is open. Nothing is required, except for 7th and 8th graders who do not already have a uniform. If ordering a middle school uniform, orders are due by Sunday, the 22nd in order to get the uniform for the first meet. All other orders are due Thursday the 26th.
