
Golf Practice Schedule
Tuesday, 4/19 - No Practice
Wednesday 4/20 - Practice inside 4:00-5:00 - bring one iron and a putter
Thursday 4/21 - 8th grade and girls practice at Meadows 4:00-5:30 (7th graders no practice)
Friday 4/22 - 7th grade practice at Meadows 4:00-5:30 (8th and girls no practice)
On Friday, we hope to have a schedule available for the rest of the year.
If you can't make your scheduled day, let us know and you may be able to switch and practice with us on your scheduled off day.
Our first meet is Monday, 4/25 - we can bring 10 golfers. We will let those people know who will be going to the meet and more information about it next Wednesday.


🔶REMINDER🔶 There will be no school for Moorhead students from Friday, April 15 - Monday, April 18. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 19.

Golf Practice week of April 11th.
There will be no golf on Monday 4/11
Tuesday 4/12 will be inside with stations like we have been doing. Bring 1 club (9 iron or wedge).
Wednesday will also be stations
Thursday - no golf
Friday - no golf
Subject to change due to weather.


Track Practice for week of the 11th. Athletes will all be practicing after school outdoors so dress accordingly.

🔶REMINDER🔶 Moorhead Area Public Schools K-12 students and buses will start 2 hours late Wednesday, April 6. Preschool and online students will continue with their regular schedule.


Horizon Middle School's eighth-grade orchestra is ✨one of five✨ selected to play at the state honors concert on Monday, April 4! 👏 Students will play at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis and learn from members of the Minnesota Orchestra. The eighth-grade orchestra is made up of 87 members and taught by Brian Cole and Josh Biles.

The Minnesota Department of Commerce has awarded Horizon West Middle School and Probstfield Elementary grants totaling $204,000! This is a part of the Solar for Schools program in an effort to create renewable energy and reduce costs. 🌎 In addition, the program provides beneficial learning opportunities for students.


Spring Sports for Horizon East will begin as follows:
Tennis and Track will begin April 4th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Practices will run everyday after school unless told differently from your students coaches. Make sure to have your students dressed for the weather as they will be outside.
Golf will begin the week of March 28th. The coaches will email the students the schedule. They will vary on practice dates due to space and weather.

It’s Youth Art Month! 🎨 Students at Horizon Middles School are showcasing their art at the Plains Art Museum. This exhibit hosts over 40 area schools and it's the 20th consecutive year they’ve hosted this event! Visit the Plains Art Museum until March 31 to see what our creative students have made this year! #SpudPride
