
Moorhead public and non-public schools and buses will start two hours late on Wednesday, January 5. There will be no morning Early Intervention Services, Jump Start or Community Education classes. Before-school activities are cancelled. Online students and West Central Academy will maintain a regular schedule.


Boy's basketball for 7th and 8th grade will be starting after school on Tuesday, January 4th from 4:00 to 5:30pm. Practice will be everyday after school Monday through Friday. Please make sure your student has a current sports physical on file in order to participate.

Boy's basketball sign ups are going on right now. Your student can stop in the office to sign up. They will begin practice after the winter break. More details on practice schedules will be given to the students once we are back from break. They will need to have a current sports physical, clean tennis (basketball) shoes, shorts and t-shirt to begin.

Moorhead High School's spring theatre production will be A Wrinkle in Time and auditions for some of the roles will be open to Horizon students. Rehearsals and performances will happen at Horizon. An interest meeting will be held on January 5 after school in Horizon West Music Room 413. No preparation or previous experience necessary!
