It's the little things for us! 🤗
Recently a parent posted on social media thanking one of our drivers for going above and beyond. We want to highlight John Rasmussen, bus driver at Moorhead Area Public Schools.
He noticed a first grader was running a minute behind. John made an extra stop down the block in front of their house, to make sure the student didn't miss the bus. These little acts of kindness are what make our school district and community the best place to be!

Girls basketball games will be on https://as.rschooltoday.com/ calendar once they have been confirmed with the other schools.

It's Red Ribbon week, which highlights the importance of drug-use prevention. We want to give a special thank you to an individual who helps teach the importance of this week in our schools: School Resource Officer Jordan Werk! Werk has been with the Moorhead Police Department for five years and began working as an SRO for MAPS last year. This year she will be teaching the DARE program to students at Horizon Middle School. Let’s give a big Spud thank you to Officer Werk! 🧡🖤
