The Moorhead School Board approved the Moorhead Area Public Schools World's Best Workforce (WBWF) Annual Report at its board meeting on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021. The World’s Best Workforce is Minnesota Department of Education’s continuous improvement initiative. Each school district sets yearly goals and defines plans in five areas: Kindergarten Readiness, Reducing Achievement Gap, Read Well by Grade 3, Graduation and College, Career and Life Readiness.
Along with the WBWF report, the district releases data on enrollment, attendance, student demographics and individual school improvement goals into an annual report. The report is now available on the district website at www.moorheadschools.org/annualreport.
The public is invited to a State of the District presentation highlighting the data in the report on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 7 a.m. at the MAPS District Operations Center at 1313 30th Ave. S. The event is part of the Donuts with the District series designed as a unique opportunity for community members to connect and learn more about Moorhead Area Public Schools. Events will take place throughout the 2021-22 school year. Please register online for this event.
