The Spuds volleyball team celebrates on Sept. 16 during their match against Bemidji. The Spuds took the Lumberjacks in three sets: 25-21, 25-15 and 25-16. The Spud players had great stats, with Rosie Anderson at 11 kills and two blocks and Mya Pfeifer with nine kills, two blocks and one ace. Grace Perry also had a good showing with eight kills and one block. Taliah Triggs came in with the most blocks at four and had three kills as well. Spud sports are back! Girls soccer had their season home opener on Aug. 27 against Stillwater, with a final score of 0-9.
