
On March 23, ND-20061 Air Force Junior ROTC competed in the Sioux Falls Invitational Drill meet in Sioux Falls, SD. Against five other teams from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa, ND-20061 excelled, placing first in Armed Regulation led by Cadet Adelaid Bakken and 1st Year Color Guard Cadet Keaton Young, a freshman at MHS and one of five students in the Moorhead ROTC program this year. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

Every first Thursday of the month, lunch menus throughout the Moorhead Area Public School district feature proteins and produce sourced from farms and ranches in Minnesota. CELEBRATING 150 YEARS: Both Boys and Girls track teams were the top teams in the state during this decade. Both teams combined for 19 individual and relay State Championships and 6 team Championships. Paula Bauck and Jim Gotta were coaches for the teams. On Saturday March 23, the ND-20061 Air Force Junior ROTC competed in the Sioux Falls Invitational Drill meet held in Sioux Falls, SD. The competition had six total teams with teams from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. The ND-20061 unit had first place finishes in Armed Regulation commanded by Cadet Adelaid Bakken (North) and 1st Year Color Guard commanded by Cadet Keaton Young (Moorhead). Both boys and girls Physical Training (PT) teams won their respective relay races. The unit also had third place finishes for Varsity Color Guard, 1st Year Armed, Unarmed Exhibition, and Armed Exhibition.

All Moorhead public and non-public schools, including Community Education classes, are closed February 27. Moorhead Area Public School students in grades E-12 are required to complete an eLearning day. All before-school, after-school and evening activities are canceled.
